Tormigo is very user friendly when it comes to preferences for the used text editors, which are necessary for the management of the requirements and widely understood documentation.

Tormigo can cooperate with OpenOffice Writer and Microsoft Word in order to manage the requirements on the basis of the document’s text.

Gathering requirements

The possibility of configuration and enabling the support for the OpenOffice.org  or Microsoft software which allows one to add the requirements to the project on the basis of the text selected in the OO.o or Word editor

While adding the requirement from OpenOffice.org or and Microsoft Word the selected text is added to “notes” box of the requirement. It is also possible to set the option thanks to which Tormigo will try to detect the name for the introduced requirement from the selected text. Then the first sentence or its first line will be the name of the requirement.

The application makes it possible to mark the text in the OpenOffice.org document which was used to add the new requirement by placing the defined text in square brackets before it and/ or behind it. It is possible to use the predefined variables in definition of the text: date, time and object’s identifier in the EA repository.

Requirements management

Saving the additional data concerning the project in the repository, such as full name of the project, the information about copyrights, name of the company for which the project is implemented and its logo which will be placed in the reports.
